Environmental racism is the practice of locating such toxic operations as landfills, incinerators and chemical power plants near politically powerless communities of color. We have five fast ways you can take action to help fight this problem.

We seek to:

  • Collaborate with local environmental justice communities to help them exercise control over injurious corporate environmental behavior.

  • Promote disclosure of local environmental impacts and corporate solutions to address them.

  • Ensure on-going corporate compliance at the facility level with applicable environmental and health laws and regulations.

  • Model the kind of authentic collaboration and dialogue with local economic justice communities that we believe corporations should engage in.
